第3曲 ロシアの踊り（Trepak）
「ロシアの踊り（トレパーク）」は、《くるみ割り人形》の中でもひときわ活気に満ちた小品で、ロシア民俗舞踊のエネルギーと躍動感を凝縮した音楽です。速いテンポと明快なリズムが特徴で、跳ねるような動きと勢いのある展開が、舞踏の熱気をそのまま伝えています。
冒頭から力強いアクセントが連続し、短い動機が次々と畳みかけるように現れることで、曲全体に推進力が生まれます。旋律はシンプルながらも勢いがあり、反復と強弱の対比によって、舞い手が跳躍し回転する姿が鮮やかに浮かび上がります。中間部では一瞬の静けさが訪れますが、すぐに再び勢いを取り戻し、最後まで駆け抜けるように終結します。
短い曲ながら、明確なリズム感と鋭いアクセントが音楽の核心を成しており、チャイコフスキーが民俗舞踊の生命力を巧みに音楽化した一曲といえます。

No. 3 Danse russe (Trepak)
The “Russian Dance (Trepak)” is one of the most energetic and spirited numbers from The Nutcracker, capturing the vitality and exuberance of Russian folk dance. Its brisk tempo and sharply defined rhythms create a sense of unstoppable momentum, vividly conveying the heat and excitement of the dance.
From the opening bars, strong accents and rapidly repeated motifs generate a powerful forward drive. The melody, simple in outline yet full of vigor, together with the interplay of repetition and dynamic contrasts, vividly suggests dancers leaping and spinning with athletic precision. A brief moment of calm appears in the middle section, but the music quickly regains its intensity, racing toward a breathless and exhilarating conclusion.
Despite its brevity, the piece is built on a clear rhythmic profile and incisive accents, demonstrating how effectively Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky transforms the raw energy of folk dance into a concise and compelling orchestral miniature. |
